    Taught Overseas
    Taught for six weeks (July 4th through August 16th) at Beijing New Oriental Summer Camp in Yangzhou, China. Responsible for a classroom of thirty two students ranging in ages from eleven to eighteen who all came from diverse and rich backgrounds. Developed a curriculum centered on strengthening English speaking skills through the use of reading, writing, and oratory exercises. Coordinated outdoor activities for students to participate in such as football, baseball, and led informal gatherings where students could ask questions about the United States.

    An avid hiker (The Appalachian Trail, Olympic Mountains and coastline, The Cascades, Grand Canyon), a voracious reader, world traveler (Mexico, Spain, Ibiza, China, Japan), writer of fiction and poetry, study languages (Chinese and Latin), singer in both choral and solo settings, cooking and eating.
